Former Senator Justin Chenette is the only candidate in the race for York County Commissioner to be endorsed by the Maine Sierra Club and the only candidate to sign the No Fossil Fuel Pledge, swearing off PAC, lobbyist, and corporate contributions.

Justin served 8 years in the Senate and House and was a member of the Environment & Natural Resources Committee and the Maine Climate Council. He co-sponsored legislation to create a Green New Deal for Maine, a ban on certain polystyrene foam products, a ban on offshore oil drilling, and make water a public right.

County government should be coordinating climate mitigation strategies and use some of the millions in Federal relief to combat coastal erosion. Justin will champion our environment and deliver climate justice. He did it in the legislature and he will do it again as our next county commissioner. Vote June 14th!

Ben Moore, Saco
